Come to PV Alpine this summer and let us help you ski your fastest, but don't take our word for it check out our testimonials page to see what other campers have to say about PV Alpine.

Each session at PV Alpine is full of great skiing, coaching, and fun activities. Your first day we focus on free skiing, and technique drills to get you skiing your best before you get into gates. Days 2, 3, and 4 are GS gates with more drills and free skiing. Day 5 is a day off snow and we try to go to the beach at Hood River if the weather cooperates. Day 6 through 8 are slalom gates, free skiing, and drills. The clinic consists of 1 free ski and drill day, 2 days of giant slalom, and 2 days of slalom.

When you train with PV Alpine you work in groups of 5 athletes and 1 Nor-am, NCAA, World Cup, or Olympic level coach.

Simple language, good visual aids, and lots of quality runs makes training with PV Alpine the best way to reach your goals. At PV Alpine we want you to ski your best, and we will do everything possible to get you there; while providing a fun, and positive environment.

Lodging

Afternoon Activities

Afternoon activities follow your morning training sessions. Activities include ultimate Frisbee, soccer, touch football, hikes, and trips to local mountain lakes. You come to camp to ski, and our afternoon activity choices are planned so that you get the most out of your days on snow.

Course Setting

The course setting is done with the utmost respect for ski racing, and safety. Courses are set using FIS and USSA guidelines, and all distances between gates are measured, to ensure quality training. Ski racing should be fun, and having good courses where you can improve is a priority to PV Alpine coaches.

Video

The latest digital video, and software programs are used to show you how you are skiing. In depth video sessions of only 5 athletes are held after training. Our coaches take extra care and time to help you improve by providing images to what we are saying on the hill. When you are all done with your training we put all of the training runs on a DVD so that you can watch your skiing when you are at home. PV Alpine is a pioneer in instant video feedbalc, and we have cameras that are linked to ipads so you can instantly watch your training run when you cross the finish. We use an application on the ipad that allows your coach to watch video with you and go frame by frame, use slow motion, or draw on the screen. This is an incredibly powerful tool and great way to help you improve at a faster rate. When you are all done with your training we put all of the training runs on a DVD so that you can watch your skiing when you are at home.
